Hyperbaric oxygen therapy: advanced care for hard-to-treat wounds

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy uses 100% pure oxygen at higher-than-normal pressure to help wounds heal. The increased pressure of oxygen raises oxygen levels in the blood. Blood is then able to carry more oxygen to your wound to help it heal faster. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can also help reduce swelling and stop infections.

Conditions we treat with hyperbaric oxygen therapy include:

  • Actinomycosis
  • Acute carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Acute arterial embolism or thrombus
  • Chronic refractory osteomyelitis
  • Crush injuries
  • Decompression illness
  • Diabetic ulcers
  • Failed skin grafts
  • Gas embolism
  • Progressive necrotizing fasciitis

You don’t have to have a referral to make an appointment with our wound care centers. You are the magic ingredient in our care.
