We can work with you and your health care provider to assist you in improving your health status.The outpatient nutrition services team has expertise in nutrition therapy for diabetes, gestational diabetes, cancer, hypertension, heart disease, hyperlipidemias, weight management, celiac disease and many other chronic disorders. Services are also provided for cancer prevention, diabetes prevention, and pre-pregnancy nutrition counseling. Many insurance companies will cover nutrition counseling for disease management. And Medicare Part B will cover nutrition therapy for those with diabetes or chronic kidney disease. Our consultation fee is $92 for an hour and $46 for a half-hour visit. For maximum results, we like working with your physician to ensure that your nutrition care is coordinated with any medications or protocols you may be following. Self-referrals are also accepted.
