
CityBusiness announces 2008 Women of the Year honorees
EJGH’s Bernie Cullen, Elizabeth Dannewald and Dr. Jayne Gurtler have been selected 2008 CityBusiness Women of the Year.
East Jefferson General Hospital is proud to announce that Bernie Cullen, RN, and Vice President of Oncology Services, Elizabeth Dannewald, RN, and Supervisor of Oncology Services, and Dr. Jayne Gurtler, Hemotologist/Oncologist have been named to the CityBusiness Magazine Women of the Year Class of 2008.
“One of our area’s greatest assets is the women who are helping to lead the way in terms of recovery, business growth and community activism,” say Dr. Mark Peters, EJGH President and CEO. “Bernie, Elizabeth and Jayne all make such a positive difference in our community and demonstrate ideals deserving of this honor. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, this annual event recognizes 50 women throughout the metropolitan area who are innovative leaders with energy, ideas, achievements and a commitment to excellence. CityBusiness Magazine says, “these women, whose success in business and contributions to the community, sets the pace for our region.”
Honorees will be recognized at a November 21 luncheon and will be featured in a special section of CityBusiness Magazine on November 24.
