EJGH Team Member Grateful for Humanitarian Fund Support Print E-mail

The EJGH Humanitarian Fund provides financial assistance to EJGH team members faced with an unforeseen crisis. The fund was developed to provide assistance for team members facing catastrophic financial loss. The fund is sustained by team member annual contributions and is fiscally managed by The Foundation. A volunteer team member committee review applications and award the grants.

The thank you letter below is from one of the Humanitarian Fund recipients:

To: The Foundation at EJGH and everyone who contributed to the Humanitarian Fund,

My family and I deeply appreciate the generosity of the funds you gave us in our recent disaster with Hurricane Isaac. With YOUR help we hope to get a reliable vehicle so I can continue working at EJGH as I have for the past 28 years. EJGH is my home away from home. Even though this was an extremely difficult time for us, we feel blessed by the kindness and compassion of so many team members.

Please pass our sentiments on to each and every one for us. Once we are "back on our feet" we will be ready to join the foundation with contributions, too.
