Sensus SRT-100 Skin Cancer Treatment Machine specializes in the delicate skin cancers of the head, face and neck.

The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital thanks Foundation board member and Lympho-Maniac Founder Chad Landry for his generous contribution to support the EJGH Radiation Oncology Program. Proceeds from the 10th Annual Lympho-Maniac 70's Party helped to fund the purchase of the Sensus SRT-100, a radiation-based cancer treatment machine that specializes in the treatment of delicate skin cancers in the neck, head and face, but also treats all areas of the body.

"Every year proceeds from the Lympho-Maniac Party are dedicated to cancer-related causes in our area," says Landry. "All of the sponsors and party attendees can take great pride in knowing that because of their efforts, East Jefferson General Hospital now has the most advanced skin cancer treatment machine in our entire region. This absolutely saves lives in our community and ensures that EJGH will continue to provide top-notch care cancer care to their patients."

The Lympho-Maniac 70's Party has grown to be one of the area's best parties and fundraisers. Landry is a Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor of the EJGH Oncology Program and is the Lympho-Maniac founding member. Landry, who has been in remission since 1996, decided in 2002 to hold a party with the help of friends and family in order to raise awareness and money for local cancer non-profit organizations. East Jefferson General Hospital was the beneficiary of the 9th Annual Lympho-Maniac. All proceeds were invested in expansion of the EJGH Outpatient Infusion Center.

"I would like to thank Chad and his supporters for his wonderful donation," says Paul Monsour, M.D., EJGH Radiation Oncologist. "My colleagues and I now have the ability to painlessly treat skin cancers in the fastest, most patient-friendly way possible. I see the positive impact it is having in our community on a daily basis. We are now seeing about 15 patients a day, and that number continues to grow as we expand our capabilities."
