Congratulations again to EJGH's Debbie Schmitz, RN, who was awarded the Support Angel of the Year at the recent Susan G. Komen for the Cure New Orleans Annual Salute to Survivors Luncheon. Debbie was awarded for her outstanding contribution fighting cancer in our community and for the difference she has made in the lives of our cancer patients through her role as cancer care navigator.

Additionally, congratulations to the EJGH Foundation for being awarded a $5,000 grant from Komen New Orleans to purchase educational materials for women diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
