The EJGH Adult Day Healthcare Center offers a safe and enjoyable environment for adult clients in need. Under the direction of a Certified Activities Director, activities are designed not only for fun and socialization, but also to help clients maximize their independence for as long as possible.

The center is a medically-based facility offering:

• Nursing
• Registered Dietician
• Social Services
• Monitoring of Medication, Vital Signs and Weight

Eligibility

Any adult over 18 years of age who needs assistance with daily living, medication monitoring, nutritional support, and social stimulation may be eligible. Typically, our clients have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, stroke, dementia, depression, Parkinson's disease, or other illnesses. All clients must have a written physician's order to participate.

Activities

A typical day includes morning coffee and news, social time, exercise, small and large group activities, a health class and some relaxation time.

Meals

A continental breakfast, a nutritional, heart-healthy lunch, and an afternoon snack are provided.
