The EJGH Center for Nursing Knowledge and Research offers comprehensive American Heart Association Courses. American Heart Courses are open to healthcare providers throughout the community.

Course offerings include:

• BLS initial and renewal classes
• ACLS initial and renewal classes
• PALS initial and renewal classes
• BLS and ACLS checkoffs
• New for 2009 – ACLS Challenge

Participants who have successfully completed three ACLS courses can now register for the ACLS Challenge. The challenge requires successful completion of written test and skills demonstrations. ACLS card must be current and pre-course assessment must be completed prior to the class.
